Another morning on our Adventure by Disney and we are up before dawn. When you have such incredible scenery surrounding you, it's easy to wake up extra early to greet the day.
After a delicious buffet breakfast at the Red Cliffs Lodge, our group was joined by a local expert who shared interesting information about Arches National Park and the geological wonders that were formed over hundreds of millions of years.
We got off the bus and were excited to actually walk among these natural wonders. Our footprints joined the many others drawn to explore this unique environment.
You can choose between a leisurely walk to some nearby arches or a more rigorous hike to the Delicate Arch.

We seem tiny in comparison to the towering arch.
Tom, Adventure Guide Tiffany, Randal and Gene head out on their challenging trek to the Delicate Arch. Bring water, sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, hat, power bar, sturdy hiking books and an adventurous spirit.
At times, the path was narrow with a steep drop off and not for the faint of heart. But if you are a go-for-it type of person, it is absolutely exhilarating.
The amazing view was worth the hike!
