The transformation of Paradise Pier in Disney California Adventure™
Park has come "full circle," with the recent opening of Goofy's Sky
School. This classic "wild mouse" coaster attraction joins guest
favorites like "World of Color," Toy Story Mania!™ and the all-new attraction, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure, along the shores of Paradise Bay.
Goofy's Sky School is inspired by the cartoon short, "Goofy’s
Glider," which debuted in 1940 and was where his popular "How To"
cartoon series first took off. In a series of dips, twists and thrills,
the attraction takes "novice pilots" on a flying lesson through the
wild, blue yonder. Zipping up, down, around, over and through the
clouds, the flight path rises three stories high with plenty of wacky
antics and instruction from Goofy via whimsically animated billboards.
This final phase of the Paradise Pier transformation also
brings a set of new dining locations, which share a 900-seat, open-air
dining area:
- Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta features Guest-pleasing
flatbread pizzas, delicious pasta dishes and salads. Flatbreads range
