Here is what Small World Vacations' agent, Cheryl has to share about our incredible day in the Big Apple:

"I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to attend the Disney Cruise Line Press Event in New York City last week.  The Disney Dream will join the Disney Fleet in January 2011.  Its maiden voyage is set to sail on January 26, 2011 from Port Canaveral.  The Dream will sail 3-, 4- and 5-Night itineraries in 2011.   

At the event we were given a sneak peek as to what we will find on the Disney Dream.  The Dream will offer a water coasted named AquaDuck which propels riders through a see-through tube which curves out over the ocean!  It looks like so much fun and I can’t wait to try it myself!! 

The Dream will offer two new restaurants, the Royal Palace and the Enchanted Garden.  The Royal Palace will offer a Princess theme and the Enchanted Garden will transform from day to night during your meal.  The Dream will also offer Animators Palette and Palo which are also offered on the Magic and Wonder. 

On board there will be exciting areas and clubs for kids, tweens, teens and adults!! 

One of the areas I am most excited about are the inside staterooms.  All inside staterooms will feature Virtual Portholes offering “views” of the ocean via live feed from cameras outside the ship.  So even though you are in an inside cabin it sure won’t feel that way!

Booking for the Disney Dream begins on Monday, November 9, 2009.  Early booking for Gold and Platinum Castaway Members began this past Monday, November 2.
