For years, my husband, Ed, and I have dreamed about taking our sons, Nicholas and Michael, on an Adventure by Disney vacation. This past year, our dream finally became a reality for our family!

We set out for our Golden Path to Yosemite adventure in June. This itinerary included seven nights in three destinations including Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park and San Francisco.

Everyone greeted us with big smiles. Our Adventure Guides, Mike and Frankie and our bus driver, Lynn, provided the ultimate in Disney Service. They anticipated everyone's needs and always had a smile on their face. Mike provided so much knowledge about the area and Frankie never stopped entertaining us. Lynn got us everywhere we needed to be safely and comfortably! We also got to meet amazing people from around the country. Our boys made friends for life (and I have their text minutes to prove it).

 

Activities included kayaking on Lake Tahoe with our own private guides, ice skating 8200 feet above sea level on an Olympic Rink in Squaw Valley (home of the 1960 Olympics), horseback riding and hiking in Yosemite National Park (including our own private tour with "John Muir"), trolley rides and biking across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.  I am still in awe of how much we experienced in the course of 8 days!!


Ever since the 2011 Itineraries were released , I just can't stop dreaming about our next Adventure and the smiles it will bring to Nicholas and Michael's faces!
