Sailing from Barcelona to Europe

Guests embarking on a Disney Cruise to Europe from Barcelona will fly into Barcelona International Airport (BCN). The ship departs from the Port of Barcelona. Travel time from the airport to the port is 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Ground Transportation

Ground transfers from Barcelona International Airport to the Port of Barcelona are available for purchase. Airport transfers are available on embarkation and debarkation day only.

Upon arrival at Barcelona International Airport, proceed through Immigration. A Disney Cruise Line Representative will be available outside the Baggage Claim area to direct you to your designated transportation. Transportation may include a motor coach, minibus or taxi, depending on arrival time and party size.

Luggage Tags: You’ll receive Disney Cruise Line luggage tags in your document package. Whether you book air travel through Disney Cruise Line or on your own, remember to attach the luggage tags to your checked bags. The tags will help you identify your bags at the airport and are needed so Disney can deliver your bags directly to your stateroom.

Sailing from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Europe

Guests embarking on a Disney Cruise to Europe from Civitavecchia will fly into Leonardo Da Vinci Airport-Fiumicino (FCO) in Rome. The ship departs from the Port of Civitavecchia. Travel time from the airport to the port is 60 minutes, depending on traffic.

Ground Transportation

Ground transfers from Leonardo Da Vinci Airport to the Port of Civitavecchia are available for purchase.  Airport transfers are available on embarkation and debarkation days only.

Upon arrival at Leonardo Da Vinci Airport, proceed through Immigration. After you’ve collected your luggage, a Disney Cruise Line representative will be available outside Custom Control by exit door #2 to direct you to your designated transportation. Transportation may include a motor coach, minibus or taxi, depending on arrival time and party size

Railway Station Transfers

You’ll go through both U.S. and Canadian Customs when arriving, so plan your travel time accordingly.

Disney’s Convenient Onboard Airline Check-In

Enjoy the comfort and convenience of Onboard Airline Check-In* when you purchase ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line, such as:

  • Receive your boarding passes ahead of time.
  • Check your luggage for your return flight before disembarking the ship.
  • Skip luggage claim at the port terminal.
  • Bypass the airline check-in counter at the airport.

Here’s how it works:

  • Reserve ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line, then request to sign up for Onboard Airline Check-In when you check in at the cruise port.
  • On the day prior to disembarkation, your airline boarding passes and valet luggage tags will be delivered to your stateroom.
  • Attach the tags to your luggage and leave your bags outside your stateroom on the evening prior to disembarkation. Your luggage will be collected and delivered to your airline for you.
  • Upon arrival at Miami International Airport, you can proceed to security and continue to your departure gate.

*This service is available to Guests using Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and United Airlines flying out of Miami International Airport on domestic flights (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands). This service is also available to Guests flying internationally on American Airlines and United Airlines.

Pre-registration is required and scheduled flights must be after 11:30AM on the day your cruise ends. Airline-specific baggage fee may apply and can vary by airline. Each luggage piece can weigh no more than 50 lbs. In addition, some Guests may be selected to check in at the airport and will be unable to use this service.

The ship departs from the Port of New Orleans. Travel time from the airport to the port is 25 minutes, depending on traffic.Ground Transportation

The ship departs from the Port of New York. Travel time from either of the airports to the port is one hour, depending on traffic.

Ground transfers from John F. Kennedy International Airport or LaGuardia International Airport to the Port of New York are available for purchase. Airport transfers are available on embarkation and days only.

Sailing from Port Canaveral to The Bahamas or the Caribbean

Guests embarking on a Disney Cruise traveling to The Bahamas or Caribbean from Port Canaveral will fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO). The ship departs from the Disney Cruise Line Terminal at Port Canaveral. Travel time from the airport to the terminal is one hour, depending on traffic.

Ground Transportation

Ground transfers between Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral are available for purchase. Airport transfers are available on embarkation and debarkation days only.

If you have booked a stay before your cruise directly at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and purchased transfers from the airport to the port, please call and let us know so we can ensure your transportation experience is seamless.

If you’ve purchased transfers and attached your luggage tags to your bags before checking them with the airline, upon arrival at Orlando International Airport, skip baggage claim and proceed directly to Disney’s Magical Express on Side B, Level 1 – Ground Transportation. A Disney Cruise Line representative will collect your luggage and deliver it to your stateroom.

International Guests: You must first claim your luggage and clear Customs and Immigration. Once cleared, your luggage will be returned to the main baggage claim area where a Disney Cruise Line Representative will collect and deliver it to your stateroom.

Luggage Tags: You’ll receive Disney Cruise Line luggage tags in your document package. Remember to attach the luggage tags to your checked bags. The tags will help you identify your bags at the airport and are needed so Disney can deliver your bags directly to your stateroom.

If you are flying in with alcohol you intend to bring on board, we recommend not placing a Disney Cruise Line luggage tag on the bag the alcohol is in before checking it with the airline. Once you’ve retrieved this bag at the airport you can transfer the alcohol to a bag you will be carrying on board with you. Alcohol packed in a checked bag transported onboard by Disney Cruise Line will be removed and stored until the end of the voyage.

*If you have arranged a pre-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Hotel or at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, have purchased private transportation, or are not using Disney Cruise Line transportation, please do not attach the luggage tags until just before you arrive at the port.

Guests embarking on a Disney Cruise to Mexico, the Pacific Coast or the Panama Canal from San Diego will fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN). The ship departs from the Port of San Diego. Travel time from the airport to the port is 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Upon arrival at San Diego International Airport, go directly to baggage claim where you will pick up your luggage.
