Walt Disney World ® Resort
Small World Vacations 2025 Agent Education Program – Day Three
~ Day Three ~
The next day started with a delicious brunch buffet at Boma, located on the lower level of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. After fueling up on French toast bread pudding and delicious Kenyan coffee, we set out for Resort site inspections.
The first stop was Port Orleans – Riverside, where we toured a Preferred Room. Preferred Rooms are located close to the lobby, main pool and restaurants.
We strolled the bayou-themed grounds, from the white-column mansions of Magnolia Bend to Alligator Bayou’s quaint cottages, then headed down the Sassagoula River to our next stop, Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter.
Themed after New Orleans’s historic French Quarter, this lovely resort features cobblestone streets, gas lamps, wrought-iron balconies and colorful Mardi Gras characters. The King Triton themed water slide is so much fun! Here we toured a Standard View Room. Both of these Moderate-level resorts are within walking distance of each other, and offer water transportation to Disney Springs.
Our last stop was at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where we were toured a One Bedroom Villa in the new Island Tower. This stunning new DVC wing exceeded our expectations.
Guests staying in the Island Tower have exclusive access to 4 “tropical terrace hideaways” — each themed to a different island. These impeccably designed seating areas offer spectacular views of Magic Kingdom park fireworks on one side of the tower and Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia Golf Courses on the other.
From there, we hopped on the monorail to have a frightfully fun evening at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. It was a spooktacular ending to a busy day.
