Walt Disney World Lights Up the Holidays with Seasonal Magic and Cheer for The Whole Family

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (Nov. 13, 2025) – As the holiday season begins, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is once again sprinkling extra magic across all four theme parks, more than 25 resort hotels and Disney Springs, transforming the entire resort into a twinkling wonderland of holiday cheer. From sparkling decorations and seasonal treats to heartwarming entertainment and joyful daytime celebrations, guests of all ages can wander, wonder and make merry during the most magical time of year at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
This year, guests can look forward to returning holiday favorites and all-new experiences that bring the spirit of the season to life throughout the resort. Whether strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. under the glow of shimmering lights or discovering seasonal touches at Disney Springs, guests will find endless ways to make holiday memories that last a lifetime.
Merriest Moments in the Theme Parks
Magic Kingdom Park
Guests can experience the holiday spirit throughout Magic Kingdom Park with seasonal treats and festive décor, including brand-new holiday decorations in Fantasyland and Storybook Circus.
The beloved attraction, Jungle Cruise takes on a merry twist with the fan-favorite “Jingle Cruise” overlay, while each evening, Cinderella Castle becomes a glistening, crystalized palace during the “Frozen Holiday Surprise,” as Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Kristoff join guests to usher in the magic of the season with a dazzling display of lights and music. These limited-time experiences can be enjoyed during regular park hours.
For even more yuletide magic, guests can attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a separately ticketed event on select evenings through Dec. 21, featuring exclusive entertainment, including “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,” special character greetings and more. Disney’s Hollywood Studios
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the glitz and glamour of the holidays take center stage with festive décor inspired by the golden age of Tinseltown. During regular park hours, guests can enjoy seasonal treats, themed photo opportunities, and the return of “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” with a special holiday finale. Over in Toy Story Land, guests will find whimsical seasonal touches as Woody, Buzz, and Jessie celebrate the holidays with playful décor and character greetings.
The merriment continues at Hollywood & Vine, where Minnie Mouse and friends host a festive holiday dining experience filled with cheerful music, themed décor and seasonal flavors. As night falls, Sunset Boulevard dazzles with a projection-filled transformation during “Sunset Seasons Greetings,” bringing beloved Disney stories to life in vibrant color.
Starting Nov. 14, Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will launch a new exhibit showcasing artifacts from heartwarming holiday classic films, including “The Santa Clause,” “Disney Noelle,” “Babes in Toyland,” and “The Muppets Christmas Carol.” Guests can also catch a screening of a special holiday collection of Walt Disney animated short films, including “On Ice,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” and “The Art of Skiing.”
For those looking to extend the celebration, Disney Jollywood Nights returns with even more Hollywood glamour and holiday cheer like never before. This separately ticketed event on select nights through Dec. 22 invites guests to dress in their festive best and step into a sparkling celebration filled with event-exclusive entertainment, dazzling décor, festive culinary creations and lively music that captures Hollywood’s glamorous era.
Event guests can mix and mingle with favorite Disney characters in stylish seasonal looks, enjoy specialty treats and beverages, and experience one-of-a-kind shows and photo opportunities available only during the event.
EPCOT
From Nov. 28 through Dec. 30, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth, invites guests to celebrate cultural traditions from around the world, available during regular park hours. Holiday Kitchens offer seasonal flavors and festive treats, while Storytellers around World Showcase bring to life holiday customs from their home countries.
Music brings the spirit of this holiday festival to life as the beloved Candlelight Processional at the America Gardens Theater shares the Christmas story, accompanied by a full orchestra and choir. Guests can also enjoy the joyful seasonal harmonies of the Voices of Liberty inside The American Adventure pavilion.
The popular Glimmering Greenhouses – Living with the Land returns this year with its seasonal holiday overlay, transforming the iconic boat ride into a festive experience. Bursting with twinkling lights, holiday-themed displays and innovative greenhouse magic, this must-see tradition delights guests of all ages.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, nature and the holidays intertwine as Discovery Island glows with handcrafted animal lanterns, and the Merry Menagerie of life-size, artisan-sculpted puppets brings winter’s beauty to life during the daytime. After the sun sets, the nighttime experience, Tree of Life Awakenings, brings the animal spirits in the Tree of Life’s towering trunk to life with a dazzling display of color and animated imagery. Guests can also enjoy holiday-themed treats, festive music, and character experiences throughout the park.

Disney Springs
At Disney Springs, the holiday season sparkles with cheer and festive fun as guests stroll beneath twinkling lights and gentle nightly snowfall while savoring seasonal treats, specialty drinks and holiday-themed merchandise, including the world’s largest selection of Disney gifts at World of Disney. Guests can meet Santa Claus in the marketplace near Disney’s Pin Traders and savor a special holiday menu while surrounded by whimsical décor at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar.
The atmosphere is filled with holiday spirit, from live musical performances to the enchanting Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll presented by AdventHealth. This beloved tradition showcases a collection of creatively themed holiday trees, each decorated to celebrate Disney stories, characters, and iconic films. Guests can explore the stroll at their own pace, discovering hidden details and seasonal surprises around every corner, making it a perfect activity for families, friends and holiday photographers alike.
While strolling through Disney Springs, guests are invited to help make someone’s holiday magic by joining the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive and donating a new, unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots at World of Disney, DisneyStyle or Marketplace Co-Op through Dec. 12.
