Sip and Sail with Bars and Lounges on the Disney Destiny

The new ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Destiny, offers spaces for the whole family to enjoy together, plus specialty venues for both kids and families.
The Disney Destiny’s bars and lounges are no exception, offering both exclusive spaces for adults and venues with family entertainment during the day, before turning into a haven for those 18+ to enjoy in the evening.
Many of these venues feature brand-new designs, plus special, exclusive menus, all inspired by the unforgettable personalities of heroic and villainous characters in favorite Disney stories.
We’re on a quest to experience all of the lounges and bars onboard the Disney Destiny. Here we go!

De Vil’s
Perfectly wretched! De Vil’s is a lavish lounge inspired by the iconic, villainous fashionista, Cruella de Vil. Her unforgettably bold flair made infamous by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ One Hundred and One Dalmatians comes to life in a whole new way, all with her sleek, signature color palette of red, black, and white. And, of course, spots!
The chic, intimate piano lounge located off the Grand Hall is inspired by Hollywood Regency design and a fabulous, spotted grand piano to entertain adults on the hunt for some relaxation and live music.
Above the spotted piano, a fiber optic Cruella will appear and disappear. If guests are at De Vil’s at the right time, they should be prepared “to take a sudden chill,” as the fabulous diva herself might just make an appearance. In “Treble Making with Cruella,” the fearsome fur lady takes over the piano lounge to rewrite the lyrics of her classic song and design a more flattering ode to her marvelousness.
A high-fashion piano lounge needs a high-fashion menu, and inside De Vil’s guests will find a selection of designer drink offerings, all inspired by the characters from Disney films. They should be sure to dress the part as these couture beverages serve as that perfect last accessory, honoring Cruella de Vil’s classic legacy.

The Sanctum
Guests can step into the Sanctum, Disney Cruise Line’s very first lounge inspired by Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange. The Sanctum is the centrally located entertainment parlor hosting activities for families during the day before inviting adults to enjoy a mystical evening with live music and themed drinks.
As if a Sanctum is hiding in plain sight, the bar is more subtle in design, but if they look closely guests will find themselves surrounded by mysterious curios from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, with spellbinding trinkets designed to aid sorcerers, including Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj. The circular window icon behind the bar is a nod to the seal protecting the New York Sanctum, and details throughout the lounge are inspired by the sorcerers’ light shields and mystical arts.
Guests can start and end their day with the supernatural in The Sanctum, which offers a menu for guests of all ages, including a magical array of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffee. Electric and levitating libations from across the multiverse feature prominently in this spectacular lounge.

Cask & Cannon
“Drink up, me hearties, yo ho!” Guests can skip walking the plank and walk on into Cask & Cannon, the pirate’s pub inspired by the classic (and our personal favorite!) Disney Parks attraction from around the world. This swashbuckling tavern is furnished with an eclectic mix of treasures that have been pillaged and plundered — or, “commandeered,” one might say — by the storied pirates themselves.
Here, the rum is never gone! Cask & Cannon serves a menu of rare, specialty, and vintage rums, even a selection of “bootlegged” brews on tap, served straight from the barrel. Guests can grab themselves a libation in true pirate style, surrounded by treasures, fishing nets, and rum bottles from jolly adventures throughout the years. This is a great space for a casual get-together, complete with live sports on televisions throughout the pub.
For fans of the Disney Parks attractions, take a close look at the details around the pub. The lanterns serve as a nod to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disneyland Paris. This easter egg is burned into our minds: if guests look closely at the portholes, they will find intricate carvings etched into charred wood, a nod to the burning village scene. And, can they spot the jail cell keys? Don’t worry, there’s no prison pup onboard to taunt anyone with them.
When guests look up, they’ll notice a fantastical map of the Caribbean Sea, with pirate ships representing the growing Disney Cruise Line fleet. When they look down, they’ll find a nod to the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, with Captain Jack Sparrow’s compass designed into the carpet. Does it point to what they desire most?
Perfect for Pirate Night on the Disney Destiny, Cask & Cannon might even have a stop from Captain Jack Sparrow himself as he walks about the Disney Destiny looking for a brave crew to help him in his latest quest.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor
Welcome, foolish mortals. The Haunted Mansion Parlor is the spookiest space for a sympathetic libation onboard the Disney Destiny. Guests can settle into a mysterious sea captain’s parlor and learn the unnerving story of his bride, with haunting cues from enchanted objects around the parlor brought to life by Madame Leota throughout the evening.
The fan-favorite Haunted Mansion Parlor first debuted on the Disney Treasure, and offers a haunting array of beverages, including an all-new menu of mocktails and cocktails exclusive to the Disney Destiny.
Inside, guests will find not only several design elements that reflect the beloved Disney Parks attractions, from the mansion wallpaper to the haunted clock striking 13, but they’ll also find unique additions, including a spooky aquatic focal point from the Walt Disney Imagineering archives: a ghostly fish tank filled with skeletal fish.
Whatever heroic or villainous turn guests’ days take onboard the Disney Destiny, there is something for everyone in the family during a Disney Cruise vacation.
