What does it take to join our elite team of travel agents specializing in Disney Destinations? Our agents have the drive to succeed and are 100% committed to making this work. This is NOT a hobby. This is an opportunity to build a career and run your own profitable home-based business. Small World Vacations agents are expected to: Be available to assist Guests – Agents make their own hours but are expected to be available when their guests need them (within reason, of course). They typically work 3 – 5 days per week from morning until mid to late afternoon and set up appointments for evening hours. After completing six months of education, they receive an average of 5 - 15 pre-qualified quote leads on each day they agree to accept new business. Prepare personalized price quotes and send to guests within 24 hours after receiving their travel preferences. Small World Vacations provides templates for price quotes. Accurately answer guest questions and phone calls in a timely manner (optimally the same day) depending on the urgency. Be available when new packages or a discount is released. Determine which discount is best for each guest. Wait times at Disney reservations can be long. This can be a stressful but lucrative day. Our agents’ goal is to make guests happy by saving them money. Stay up-to-date on what’s new at Disney and experience it in person at least once each year. Sail on a Disney Cruise within one year after starting at Small World Vacations if they have not been on a Disney Cruise within the last 4 years. Guide guests with their choices and planning in regard to travel dates, resort choice, ADRs, dining plans, theme park tickets, MyDisneyExperience, MDE App, FastPass+, DME, navigating the Parks, saving time and money etc. Understand that this is a commission-based sales position. Build trust with honesty and create brand loyalty with outstanding service. Be confident and know when to ask for the sale. Try to increase sales each year. Successful agents can earn six figures.
