Celebrate Opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Resort

Today, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is debuting at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort® as one of the most advanced and immersive experiences ever undertaken by Walt Disney Imagineering.  And to celebrate the occasion, the D23 Inside Disney podcast is hosting special day-of coverage – direct from Batuu!

Beginning at 8 a.m. PT (11 a.m. EST), the first D23 Inside Disney video stream is launching from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and sharing some of the secrets from the dazzling talents behind this epic new attraction. And you can bet there will be a few surprises too!

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is one of the most ambitious attractions ever created for a Disney park. The thrilling action takes place in massive sets that give you the feeling of stepping inside a Star Wars film as they elude the clutches of Kylo Ren and the First Order in a mad dash through a Star Destroyer.
