DisneyFamilia – Feel el Ritmo, Taste the Cultura: Celebrate Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month at Walt Disney World
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (September 4, 2025) – This Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month, Walt Disney World Resort is packed with various ways for familias to celebrate the magia together. From lively música to delicious food and beverage options and much more, the festivities come alive in every corner of the resort. While you can experience Hispanic and Latin-inspired fun all year-round, here are ways that Walt Disney World Resort celebrates the month from September 15 to October 15 in 2025:
Bacilos to Kick Off Celebration as the Grand Marshals at Magic Kingdom Park
As guests stroll through Magic Kingdom on September 15, they will be able to see Grammy-Award winning Latin Pop Duo Bacilos lead the way as grand marshals before the Festival of Fantasy parade, kicking off the Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month fiesta. From waving hello to park guests to hugging popular Disney characters, Jorge Villamizar and Andre Lopez will be celebrating the month at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Bacilos will also perform later that night as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Guests will be able to dance, sing, and celebrate their heritage with Bacilos all in one day.
Magic Kingdom Park
Fans of parades are in luck, as guests can say hola to beloved characters like Bruno from “Encanto,” Miguel from “Coco” and more during the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, which runs twice a day. Later in the evening, guests can watch the new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, a shimmering processional inspired by the classic Main Street Electrical Parade.. During the parade, floats with beloved characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” and Disney-Pixar’s “Coco” are featured, dazzling guests with their themed floats and sparkling lights.
*The parade will not be available in the evenings when Magic Kingdom Park hosts Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – guests should check the Entertainment Schedule or the My Disney Experience app for the performance schedule.
Character greeting enthusiasts will be able to strike a pose and share a hug with Mirabel Madrigal at Fairytale Garden. Additionally, guests can capture Disney PhotoPass-exclusive Mirabel and Bruno Magic Shots in the park, while foodies will be able to enjoy Latin-inspired dishes like the Dr. Falls Signature Grilled Steak at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen.
EPCOT
At the CommuniCore Plaza Stage, guests can sing, dance and join the fun-filled fiesta that is ¡Celebración Encanto!, a sing-along show that features favorite songs from the film. During the show, the whole family can play trivia and dance with members of the Madrigal family. The show runs several times a day and Bruno and Mirabel may join in on the fun.
While exploring World Showcase, guests will hear the melodies of traditional folk music originating from Jalisco, Mexico from the unmissable act, Mariachi Cobre. Located at the Mexico pavilion and running several times a day, the mariachi are sure to get guests swaying to the música.
For a well-rounded celebración filled with music to dance and sing to, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will feature the most Latin events the festival has ever hosted, with four Latin acts that will grace the America Gardens Theatre stage during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue. Kicking off the celebration on September 15, Bacilos will perform followed by La Calle Band from September 16-18 and Sheila E September 19-20. Jesse & Joy will return to the stage September 28-29 and Latin Ambition will conclude October 14-16. Guests can purchase a Festival Concert Series Dining Package at TasteEPCOT.com, which includes a delicious meal at select EPCOT restaurants and reserved seating at one of the shows.
In addition to the concerts, guests can savor Latin-inspired flavors across the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, including the new Peruvian Ceviche at Coastal Eats (World Discovery, near Creations Shop, available starting September 28), Adobo Yuca Fries with plant-based garlic-cilantro aioli at The Fry Basket (near Test Track presented by General Motors) and the new Tostada de Carnitas at the Mexico pavilion. These offerings add even more sabor to the celebration, showcasing the vibrant cultures that inspire the music and entertainment.
For guests who love to capture enchanting memories, Disney PhotoPass offers exclusive Mirabel, Bruno and Isabela Magic Shots at the park.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
In honor of the month and a taste of Caribbean rhythms, the Viva Gaia Street Band! will perform at Discovery Island. The band brings energetic melodies, vibrant masquerade costumes and unstoppable dance moves.
Aspiring artists can learn to draw Dante from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco” and watch a video from Hispanic Pixar animator Ana Ramirez at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station.
For “Encanto fans,” guests can grab Disney PhotoPass-exclusive Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela and Luisa Magic Shots.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
For a taste of home, Hispanic and Latin American-inspired menu items, including Shrimp Tacos and a refreshing Watermelon Margarita will be available at ABC Commissary.
Stylish apparel and fun accessories inspired by the fan-favorite film “Coco” will be available for purchase at the Beverly Sunset Boutique.
Disney Springs
The “Coco” merchandise collection will also be available at World of Disney and at the Marketplace Co-Op during the festive month.
As familias stroll through Town Center, they will come across vibrant displays from talented artists featured at the Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression. Latin artists like Nicole Salgar, TRATOS, Eduardo Kobra and more created murals bursting with color, emotion and the spirit of their cultures.
For a taste of cultura, foodie guests can savor the new Horchata Mousse at Amorette’s Patisserie, a unique, high-end pastry shop also located at Town Center. In addition, guests can enjoy a Dulce de Leche Ganache Pop at The Ganachery or indulge in Croquetas de Pollo at Jaleo by José Andrés, where Spanish flavors celebrate the richness of Latin cuisine.
Disney Resorts Collection
The delicioso foodie fun continues at the resorts, with Latin-inspired dishes available as guests rest and relax.
At Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, guests can dine on Spanish style tapas, seafood and steak cuisine at Toledo – all while feasting their eyes on the beautiful views from this rooftop restaurant.
At Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort guests are able transport themselves to an island vibe, enjoying dishes infused with rich Latin and Caribbean flavors at Sebastian’s Bistro. From Guava Butter to slow-cooked mojo pork, guests can enjoy a taste from back home.
To experience any in-park offerings, guests must have valid theme park admission and may need a theme park reservation for the park they are visiting on the same date.
