Small World Vacations has been invited to attend a special preview sailing and Christening event on the Disney Destiny on November 10! We’re so excited to experience this brand-new ship and share all the details with you.
Guests will set sail on the maiden voyage on November 20, 2025. It will be followed by an inaugural season of 4- and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale. Every sailing will include a day of fun in the sun at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay — some itineraries will even visit both. And select cruises will feature more warm-weather adventures in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico.
Here are some of the stunning details and epic experiences we can’t wait for on the Disney Destiny:
The Destiny’s design is inspired by Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters — everything from stateroom amenities to restaurant themes to adult lounges. There will be brand-new spaces and experiences celebrating Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Iron Man and the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Presiding over the Grand Hall is a stunning statue of T’Challa, the Black Panther: King of Wakanda.
The Sanctum is Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by “Doctor Strange.”
The Destiny Tower Suite is a Marvel-inspired penthouse honoring Iron Man, with a nod to the sleek, industrial designs of Tony Stark. Located in the ship’s forward funnel, this 2,000 sq ft, two-story suite will offer incredible views through an expansive two-story window.
For the first time in Disney Cruise history, a Marvel Super Hero is the signature stern character on the Disney Destiny – Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots!
Rotational Dining will include Worlds of Marvel, 1923, and the all-new Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a first-of-its-kind Disney dining experience, bringing the iconic songs of the animated classic to life.
De Vil’s, an adult-exclusive piano lounge, will feature the famous villainess, Cruela De Vil, from “One Hundred and One Dalmatians.”
Inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean, the new pub Cask and Cannon will be an eclectic, yet cozy watering hole brimming with treasure.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor, a themed lounge that debuted aboard the Disney Treasure, will also be found aboard the Disney Destiny for all you foolish mortals.
Edna Mode’s lab, where the Incredibles fashion designer creates outfits for the famous Super Heros, will be transformed into dessert shop Edna Á La Mode Sweets. Stop by this sweet spot for handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats.
The AquaMouse is back with a new show called “Sing a Silly Song.” On the Destiny, this “attraction at sea” features encounters with notorious Disney villains as you make your way to the peak of Villain Mountain – lead by none other than Mickey and Minnie!
The Destiny features many guest favorites – including Senses Spa, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, the Rose, Untangled Salon, Hook’s Barbery, Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Edge, and Vibe.
