Where to Eat at Disneyland Park

For some, their favorite attraction at Disneyland isn’t a ride — it’s the food! With more than 70 restaurants and eateries in Disneyland park, guests could easily build an itinerary dedicated to dining.

Our Disney dining team created a guide for the different types of dining experiences at Disneyland park, including menu recommendations and money-saving tips. There is something for a variety of palates, time preferences and price points.

Guests planning to visit both theme parks should also be sure to also check the the guide to dining experiences at Disney California Adventure park.

On-the-Go Snack Carts and Market Stands

Carts and market stands are conveniently located throughout the park, making it easy to pick up a beverage or snack on the way to guests’ next attraction or show. Snack carts are where they will find iconic Disneyland treats, such as churros, popcorn, turkey legs and Mickey Mouse-shaped pretzels. Market stands offer bottled sodas, whole fruit, pickles and more.

Must-try snacks include:

  • Spicy pickles from Fantasyland Fruit Cart
  • Whole fruits from Tropical Imports
  • Garlic cheesy pretzel bread from Maurice’s Treats

Quick-Service Restaurants

Quick-service restaurants offer delicious and budget-friendly bites, which can be ordered at a walk-up counter. Many locations also offer mobile ordering through the Disneyland app.* These eateries can satisfy all kinds of cravings, from barbecue and Southern-style to Mexican, Italian and more!

Some choices can be an especially great value because they are generous for one person or can be shared between two people.

Guests also have the flexibility to enjoy your meal in the restaurant’s seating area or take it away. On a recent visit to Disneyland park, I ordered a Burger Fantasyland faire fold from Red Rose Taverne, then enjoyed it on Main Street, U.S.A., while waiting for the “Paint the Night” parade to begin.

Iconic quick-service restaurants:

  • Star Wars-inspired fare from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
  • Tacos, burritos and more Mexican cuisine from Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante
  • Hearty American classics, such as hot dogs and chili, from Refreshment Corner

Must-try snacks:

  • Turkey leg from Edelweiss Snacks
  • Pepperoni pizza flop-over from Café Daisy
  • DOLE Whip float from The Tropical Hideaway

Table-Service Restaurants

Table-service restaurants offer multi-course, sit-down meals and a leisurely break from exploring the park. Guests can kick back, relax and enjoy their meal in a themed and casual atmosphere! Most restaurants have kids menus, so there are tasty choices portioned for little ones.

Advanced reservations are encouraged and can be booked on Disneyland.com or through the Disneyland app, with availability opening up to 60 days prior. Guests without reservations may be able to add their party to the walk-up list on the day of their visit at select table-service restaurants using the Disneyland app (subject to availability).

Recommended table-service restaurants:

  • Monte Cristo and other dishes with French Quarter flair from Cafe Orleans
  • Down-home, Southern cooking with a side of riverfront views at River Belle Terrace
  • Comfort foods inspired by some of Walt Disney’s favorites dishes at Carnation Café

Character Dining at Disneyland

Character dining experiences can be an incredible value for families and character fans. As guests dine, multiple Disney characters stop by their table for photos and autographs. Their tummy will be full of yummy food, and their heart will be full from greeting Disney pals!

Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn is a great way to start a day at Disneyland park! The buffet spread includes made-to-order omelets and Mickey waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage, fresh-baked pastries and more.

Entertainment Dining Packages and Experiences

Select restaurants at Disneyland park offer dining packages, which come with a meal and reserved viewing for a parade or nighttime spectacular, such as “Paint the Night” and “Fantasmic!” A feast for the senses, these bundles are worth it for the unique menu offerings and prime entertainment viewing areas.

“Fantasmic!” dining packages are available at three restaurants, at a range of price points and mealtimes. Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante and Cafe Orleans offer standard dining packages for lunch or dinner, which include a voucher to enter a separate viewing area for the show that evening.

In addition to a standard package, River Belle Terrace has a premium offering, which features a three-course dinner guests can enjoy while watching the show right from their table.

Available now for a limited time, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Nighttime Gathering serves savory delectables, sweet treats and beverages before “Fire of the Rising Moons” fireworks display or “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” illuminate the spires of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Inspired by flavors from across the galaxy, the menu options include cheeseburger croquettes, wonton citrus-ginger chicken salad taco, pastries, chocolate and more.

Insider Tips for Dining at Disneyland

Dining discounts: Magic Key annual pass holders and Disney Vacation Club members get special discounts on select food and beverages. To redeem their applicable discounts, guests should make sure their Magic Key ID or Disney Vacation Club membership is linked to their MyDisney account.

Plan ahead with mobile ordering: Guests can place your mobile food and beverage orders early in the day, so their meals can be prepared for them to pick up later on. This is especially helpful if guests plan to dine during the typical lunch and dinner hours, when the order counters may be busier.

Complimentary bottle-filling stations: Another option for fresh water on-the-go, guests can refill their personal water bottles at more than 10 bottle-filling stations across Disneyland park.
